Drinking this at The Hell On Horse Creek Brewery in Downtown Madison NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks dark brown almost black with a nice tannish foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin ring.
Smells lightly bready, citrusy orange grapefruit sweet.
Taste follows the nose nicely with the hops forward with a nice malt backbone.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style.
Overall a very nice Black IPA that I would definitely order again.
