Drinking this at The Hell On Horse Creek Brewery in Downtown Madison NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks dark brown almost black with a tannish foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin cap.
Smells malty sweet spicy chocolate.
Taste follows the nose nicely, chocolate, malt, pepper, and smoky.
Mouth feel is medium for the style with a really clean finish.
Overall a very nice example of a Smoky Stout that I would definitely order again.
