Brewed with German Malted Barley, German Hops, and Atlanta Water. A portion of freshly fermenting lager was added to extend the finish and provide a gentle, natural carbonation. Conditioned for 2 additional months for further refinement.

Clear pale yellow with a tall, puffy white head.

In spite of its big foamy head, the mouthfeel is extremely crisp, as a huge, grassy bitterness meets a little toastiness before a tingly and vanishingly dry finish.

It tastes much more maturely bitter than its sweeter, tangier almost AAL white grape or rice nose.

4.21/5: Damn near my ideal pilsner; somehow bold, moderately complex, delicate, and immensely drinkable all at the same time

Look? Slightly hazy clear yellow with a small white head. Great retention and lacing.

Smells like sourdough malt, pretzels, raw dough, bread crust--sheesh, what an aroma! Lemon zest, honeysuckle, flowers, vanilla, kombucha.

Tastes like sourdough bread, homebread bread, crackers, lemon zest, barnyard funk, hay, honeysuckle flowers, white pepper, grass. Phenomenal.

Medium body, bubbly, smooth and creamy. Dry. Crushable.

Fuck. What a lager. Damn. This is world class.

A: Pours a very slightly hazy medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow + pale yellow + straw yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall fizzy sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a handful of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very slightly mottled very thin film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of bready + cracker + pale + grainy malts with a minimal amount of grainy sweetness. Slightly lighter than moderate aromas of grassy + floral hops along with a hint of citrus/lemon hops. Light aromas of lager yeast.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of bready + cracker + pale + grainy malts with a minimal amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of lager yeast. Finally there are slightly heavier than light flavors of grassy + floral hops along with a hint of citrus/lemon hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away fairly quickly leaving a relatively clean finish.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a hint if dryness and a relatively clean finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly crisp + clean + refreshing mouthfeel. Enjoyable with a hint of citrus + floral + grassy hops.

I could drink this all day. It's especially awesome from a lukr pour, but a 4-pack works almost as well. Reminds me of a Kellerbier.

Appearance - The beer poured straw yellow with visible carbonation and a white head.

Smell - The hops really came out in the nose like fresh cut grass.

Taste - The crisp pilsner notes were accompanied by fresh grassy heart. There was nothing boring about this pilsner. It leaned toward the bitter side with floral notes. The lager yeast coated the tongue nicely. The profile finished with a dry crispness.

Mouthfeel - The carbonation was noted amid a slightly creamy body.

Overall - This was the best pilsner I have had in quite some time.
