Crystal clear straw-yellow color; nice bubbly carbonation. A small ring of head remains, but virtually no lacing. Head retention seems fairly poor--perhaps due an adjunct such as corn or oats?
Nice lemony aroma, funky, almost smells sour or barnyard, like lemon vinegar or something. Subtle sweetness, some hay and grass, perhaps pineapple and white grape must.
Citrus dominates the palate--lemon zest and candied lemon peel, ripe pink grapefruit, some pithiness--balanced out by pineapple, Funky grape must in the second half, followed by a fairly dry finish with hay and clover, and some bitterness and lingering bittersweet lemon-grapefruit-pineapple notes. Finishes dry and fairly clean, though.
Dry, clean, crisp, fairly-well carbonated mouthfeel.
Overall, a solid take on an American IPA? Definitely. Atypical, for sure, but tastes great.

Delicious, citrus-laden west coast IPA; reminiscent of geographic neighbor Tropicalia from Creature Comforts
