Picked up a single from the Blue Door Bottleshop in Hendersonville 1-27-25 for $7.50. No canning date; consumed for review 3-16-25. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured chilled gold with a lovely long lasting white head.
Nose is nice as i am getting some white crackers and bread along with herbal earthy hops.
Taste is spot on as the crackers and white bread base is kissed noble hops that bring a touch of lemon along with a earthy black pepper bittering hop; 6/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth. Was expecting lighter and more refreshing but okay with me.
Overall, this is a delicious brew that is a fine example of the style.

Looks like a pilsner, tastes like a pilsner. In fact, tastes about as close as one could possibly get to a Warsteiner. Cheers to the brewmaster for that. But raises the question of why not just go drink a Warsteiner? Nothing wrong with being like Warsteiner just wonder what the purpose is of creating a replica when the original is readily available
