Flemish-style Winter Ale.
Immerse yourself in the enchanting notes of coffee truffles left for Santa, the dance of spiced dark sugar plum fairies, and a finish reminiscent of a faint crackling fire in the hearth.

A: Pours up dark brown with a beige two finger head, weak retention.
S: Immediately presents with aromas of chocolate, hazlenut and cherry, perhaps even some raisin
T: An unexpected roastiness greets you first, which is followed through by cherry notes that marry surprisingly well and a prominent booziness in the finish. There are some definite umami notes here that blend in an interesting way with the notes of Belgian yeast. There are also some pleasant plum notes here as well.
M: On the heavier side of a medium body, but yet somehow dry.
O: This is a beer of marriages. Roastiness marrying with cherry, umami notes that marry with spicy Belgian yeast notes. This is a really excellent beer, but also a pretty unique take on the style that feels different and yet not “new school” in any real way. This beer is a real treat, rich and complex but never so deep that it’s distracting.
