002 is a big tropical hop bomb with massive amounts of Citra and Mosaic hops throughout the brewing and dryhop processes. A touch of Pale Wheat malt and crystal malt provide a light smooth body that allows us to showcase this epic combination of everyone’s favorite hops in a higher alcohol award winning Double IPA.

Pours orange-yellow with a foamy three finger head. Aroma is creamy orange, with perhaps in the background ripe mango. Taste is orange, citrus and light floral tones. The taste here is more like an IPA, not a DDH with a dry finish.

Another new to me selection from the 22nd annual DIPA festival. Never heard of this brewery.
Pours golden, leans to clarity, but has that dry hopping interference. 1/2" white head. Predictably reliable hop combination of Mosaic and Citra goes all Radiohead with "No Surprises". Weed, tropical, berries, orange flesh(light). Smells thereof. Check that box.
The taste also drips in that double edged sword of predictability and consistency. Orange passion fruit strain. Smoke it up. Drink it up. Has the classic malt body minimalistic post modern style of a west coast ipa. Light, brisk, dry. Absolutely serviceable in a positive way. For being one of the lightest kegs in terms of abv that day, it still managed to hang and drop a positive score even though the palate was exposed to some heavy hitters that day at the festival. I would definitely buy a can or four of this if I found it on a shelf within 90 days of canning.
Theme From a Summer Place is a pretty chill song.

Pours a hazy golden color with a creamy white head that laces the glass beautifully, this DIPA features ripe oranges and mango and a bit of grapefruit on the nose.
The ripe oranges are forward on the taste, with the mango mid-palate and a nice sweet malt flavor on the back of the palate.
The mouthfeel is medium with a little bite. This is a really well done juicy DIPA that I’d try again.
