Look: It pours black with a light brown head. Head retention is excellent.
Smell: It has some spicy and citrus notes with some roasted malts. There is a faint smoky bacon like element to it.
Taste: It has a roasted and a slightly smoky flavor with citrus and low spices. There are some very low earthly elements to it.
Feel: It has a moderate and somewhat creamy body.
Overall: The bitterness of the malts and hops works well together. The smoky elements gives it an extra edge.

Poured key black into a snifter. Roasted malts and hoppy-goodness shown through. Extremely easy drinking, almost crushable even at 8.2%. Glad to see brewers continuing to brew these.
