"Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” - W. Shakespeare, Macbeth Made with a rich blend of pale british, dark Scottish, and German malts. Lightly hopped with perle. Whenever you find yourself fretting your own hour upon the stage, this Scottish ale is designed to lessen the sound and fury that surrounds you and remind you that the trials and tribulations of life are only but a walking shadow.

Poured from a pint can that I bought in North Carolina.
Deep amber color with significant haze; light tan head descended into a thin sheet and wide rings around the glass. Aromas of German bready malt, lightly toasted grains and herbal hops. Flavors have some bready and caramel malt, but also something a little sharper like black tea, that may be from the hops. Medium body, slightly mouth-coating; Low carbonation (as appropriate for the style). Moderate hops bitterness holds the malt sweetness in balance. Some alcohol warmth, but not hot.
I like this beer. The murky appearance could be better, and the sweetness and body are a bit higher than Scottish originals, but it is a good malty ale.
