Dark hazy orange-red, with a loose cream head. On the nose, mango and guava, with the creaminess of those fruit. On the tongue, more of the same, with some wood smoke and a hoppy bittersweet finish. Thinner and fizzier, poured from a can, than you'd think from the ABV. Nice to support a local brewery, having visited and seen how strong America's craft culture is. As long as they're not bought out and asset-stripped by Breal Group or other venture capital vultures, Brockley Brewery should continue to be a credit to its community.
