Cask at The Speaker Victoria, London, England
A: The beer is nearly black in color, having traces of dark brownish red near the edges of the glass when it is held up to the light. It poured with a short light tan head that left a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of dark malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, but has stronger flavors of dark malts along with notes of chocolate.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on the palate and has a low amount of carbonation.
O: The chocolatey flavors in this oatmeal stout are very nice, although it wasn't really smooth compared to other beers in the style.
