Our entry in the People Power project hosted by our very sweet neighbors from Threes Brewing. A national, open ended beer project in support of voting rights leading up to the November election. So let me use the remaining space to say “go vote my yee’s and haw’s!”

I honestly don't know what this beer really looks like or is supposed to taste like. I opened a pint can with no printed date and it turned into a volcano. I thought it was just foaming a little, but it displaced at least 2/3 of the can into a mess on furniture, carpet, and clothing. The remainder had no sweetness and tasted like black pepper. I would not buy this again, and I'd be hesitant to buy from Non Sequitar or Keg & Lantern again.

A: The beer is very hazy light yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass and some patches of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light aromas of pineapple are present in the nose along with hints of stone fruit.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of pineapples with hints of tangerine and stone fruit.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England IPA is lighter in body and fizzier compared to other beers in the style, having the mouthfeel consistency of an Orangina.

Worst beer of the year by far. Clearly brewed recently, but the can essentially exploded upon opening (though stored in the refrigerator since purchase and not agitated in any way). Half the beer foamed out of the can as though it was a high school science experiment in making a volcano. What was left looked nice in the glass, but smelled and tasted horrible. No idea what happened to cause this, and certainly not intended by the brewery.

Look: Hazy yellow with three finger head, not much marbling on the glass.
Smell: Straw and grain, a little booze and watermelon.
Taste: Malty and grainy, the hop presence is watermelon and a little pine.
Feel: Average for an IPA, medium carbonation.
Overall: Pretty light for an IPA but not bad.
