I was lucky enough to try this great beer on my last visit to the Big Island. They brewed this tripel in honor of their 3000th batch of beer. It was a nice pale golden color, with small head to it. The smell had caramel, hops, sweet malt, and a slight hint of alcohol. The taste had a big malt body to it, with a very slight hopness, then a slow and easy warming of alcohol. The taste overall was a little lighter than most Tripels I've had, but that's what made it so good. I could have easily put down a few more without a hitch.
