Pours a beautiful cloudy golden orange with minimal head. Aroma is of tropical fruit, citrus, honey. Taste is of delightfully bitter hops, with some nice orange and grapefruit notes and candy sweetness in the finish. Mouthfeel is phenomenal, nice and solid and oily.
Overall a very solid IPA

L:. Pours a pale straw gold with a small white head and no lacing, typical looking IPA.
S:. Notes of sweet candy orange, a touch of lemon and some floral hops, it's not the strongest IPA aroma.
T:. Some sweet orange, a bit of lemon rind and some floral hops, nothing bad but nothing special, very mediocre.
F:. Smooth carbonation, medium body.
O:. Just like every other Kona beer this is the definition of mediocre.

Faint smell of oranges
Golden light-orange color
Medium mouthfeel
Medium-high carbonation
Taste of oranges, bitterness, alcohol come through
Overall not a well done beer. I view higher ABV beers that hide alcohol tastes as better made so this one isn't. It actually dominates the other flavors that may be present so not a fan.

Look - poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. straw yellow in color, small head and bits of lacing, and slightly translucent.
Smell - pine resin with a hint of fruity sweetness. actually not the most pleasant combination, but not really bad either.
Taste - a balanced malt and hoppy initial taste, with a fair bit of orange flavors coming through. not much starfruit, although it is a light tasting fruit to begin with. finish is slightly bitter, but pretty clean.
Feel - medium bodied, average carbonation, and moderately high in ABV at 6.8%.
Overall - was expecting this to be a fruity IPA, but it adheres more to the traditional American IPA with a fruity twist. An enjoyable and interesting brew.
