Beer pours a dark mahogany brown with an off brown head that leaves a nice lace on the glass. Aroma is of prunes with a slight hint of bourbon. Taste is not as sweet as i expected but I detect a slight sourness with a finish of prunes and a touch of hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is luscious-could be on nitro but I don't recall. Drinkability is high-but a few would do. Excellent beer and a treat to find as it wasn't on the menu yet.
