Poured from a pint can into a Nonic.
Pours nearly crystal clear with good bubbly carbonation, a nice foamy head and good lacing.
Solid IPA aromas on the nose, with citrus rind, mango, and mandarin orange.
The flavors are not quite as bitter, but an IPA flair is definitely apparent. Pale malts and honey sweetness on the tip of the tongue. Orange zest and pith in mid stream. The finish is all resin.
The mouthfeel is where this shines as a true cream ale. Very well attenuated resulting in a nicely carbonated and drying brew.
Sort of like an IPL. Good IPA notes melded with some awesome carbonation and drying.
