Like a cow lost in the headlights, this milk stout is extra roasty up front with a creamy smooth finish.

Look's Beer Cow In The Headlights Milk Stout, 5.3% ABV. Pours black, with a one-finger medium-brown head that left no lacing. Aroma is lactose and malt. Taste follows, faintly sweet, slightly bitter. Decent mouthfeel, overall very good to excellent. Word to the wise, when you sniff your beer, note if it's pretty full so you don't snort beer.

A - An opaque, largely black body, subtle brown-red tinting, with a light tan head, fading quickly to a thin ring, with tiny line lacing.
S - Earthy notes over a sweet malt core. Grass and floral honey highlights add some color.
T - Follows the nose, with the sweetness coming forward, a chocolate and coffee aspect that brings mild bitterness and stronger acidity in the finish.
M - Moderate weight, some carbonation, and a residual prickly finish that lingers long after the flavor fades.
O - A solid milk stout, quite decent, but a bit taxing over time, meaning this is one to mix in with other choices.

Pours dark as night, but fairly thin. Superb foamy cola head that retains extremely well. Good lacing.
Subdued roasted malt aromas. Coffee mostly. A touch of earthy hop.
Toasted/roasted malts very forward. That's about all that is going on, although it's a solid straight flavor. Not much "sweet" or "milk" going on here.
Decent mouthfeel, although it gets ashy at the finish.
Not sure this is really a milk stout.
