Poured from a pint can into a nonic pint glass. Canned on June 24, 2020--three days ago. Mmmmmm.
Pours dark and nearly crystal clear. A big tan foamy head that lingers quite well--three fingers at least. Good lacing too. Pretty brew.
Mild aromas of coffee, cocoa, and anise/herb. A touch of earthy hop too. Nice but restrained.
The brew delivers restrained sweetness on the tip of the tongue. Coffee, cocoa, and cola in midstream. The finish is a bit toasty, nutty, and earthy. Taste is similar to the aroma--pleasant but somewhat thin.
Good mouthfeel Medium-light. Well carbonated, crisp, and drinkable.
Overall, another nice brew from these folks, but could use a bit more flavor. That said, very nice and drinkable.
