Had a full pour at the taproom, Bought a 750ml for home and I am drinking it now.
Look: Brown body that is transparent reddish brown when held up the light. Awesome head that is tall fine fluffy and lasts awhile leaving plenty of lacing.
Smell: bread, toasty/roasty.
Taste: chocolate, hint of roast, a little caramel and a micro hint of dark fruit and grain/oats. I wonder if a little oats was used in this beer?
Smooth and just slightly sweet. Does have hints of bitterness mixed in.
Feel, solid, slightly creamy
A solid beer, if it had a little raisin and spice added in it would be very good. 3.97/5
On a side note the taproon is huge, plenty of space and good seating. in a old industrial building
