Review from notes taken Summer 2011 or Summer 2013:
Served on-draught at a bar in Krakow, Poland into a dimpled mug.
No bubble show forms as it's poured.
HEAD: 2 fingers worth of white froth adorn the top of the mug. Creamy with decent thickness, complexion, and consistency. Leaves nice lacing on the sides of the mug as it recedes over 4-5 minutes.
BODY: Translucent semitransparent copper. Looks unfiltered, but no yeast/lees/sediment is visible within. Clean. Of average vibrance.
AROMA: Caramalt, helles malts, vitaminy yeast, clean 2-row, floral hop aromatics, pilsner malts. Has a light sweetness judging by the aroma.
A pleasant aroma of mild intensity.
TASTE: Matches the aroma. Balanced but simplistic, led by pilsner malts and 2-row/pale malt. Cohesive in its build, but not a gestalt whole of a beer. I do like it, but it's a bit plain.
Average duration, depth, and intensity of flavour.
TEXTURE: Smooth, wet, medium-bodied, of decent thickness, and refreshing. Well-carbonated. Suits the beer's flavours well.
OVERALL: Quite drinkable. I might get it again in future if only because it's well priced by Krakow standards. Worth trying.
