Pretty sure I already reviewed this...anyway seems to have vanished, so reviewing again!
Contains maize like the traditional Belgian and UK versions, something that some countries like Romania totally leave out.
Looks great in the glass, impressive head that stays on the side of the glass. Well balanced lightly hopped foamy aroma.
Really well balanced flavour, quite a creamy mouthfeel with noticable saaz hop, though nowhere near as saazy as Urquell. It also has a slight straw taste that is common in Ukrainian lagers. Nowhere near as flavourful as Belgian Stella, but considering it is about a pound for a can or bottle and only a little more expensive than locally branded beers, it is very impressive. Seems to taste better from a bottle than a can...the can tastes a little metallic.
Although not amazing, relative to price it is one of my favourite Ukrainian brewed lagers and I drink it often.
