Served in 12oz tulip. Poured a very cloudy brown color with 2/3 inch of tan head that had only OK retention, but very good lacing.

Lots of smoke at the front of the nose, with some underlying malt sweetness.

Same on the tongue, with the solid malts offering good support for the thick smoke flavor.

The body was solid, but not heavy, certainly in the medium range.

Drinkability will, of course, depend on how much one likes the smoke. I like it.

Overall, a solid beer that's worth a shot if you're into smoked beers.
