Clear amber brew with adequate foam in the Wander snifter. Sudsy mouthfeel with plenty of carbonation. Malty taste with just a touch of sweetness. Hints of caramel along with the bready flavor. Some green tea hoppy taste and a touch of bitterness. Faint straw aroma.
If I got the story straight, these two Pale Ales are identical recipes but the Violetta uses North Carolina malt and the Talisman uses local Skagit malt. This is a pleasant understated light brew that is easy to drink. A touch of astringency in the aftertaste. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased from the brewpub.
