Clear pale amber brew with plenty of foam in the chalice. Aroma is wheat and straw. Clear and crisp with an appley taste. I wouldn't call this anything like a Euro Lager, but I guess we don't have a Kveik category. The yeasty taste is interesting, more of the same bitterness found in a Saison.
Aftertaste is a bit astringent with the lingering bitter edge like too much herbal hops. The brewery says this is made with Skagit Valley Malting’s Fritz pilsner and the hops are Saaz and Hallertau Mittelfruh. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at the brewery restaurant.
