Brauerei Barnikel

Dropped in for a visit and pick up a few beers to go. Caught them during off-hours with no customers in, but was able to pick up a few brews to go and chat with the family. From my last visit in the mid-2000s, not much has changed except they now contract brew and the family lamented that they would like to eventually brew in house again. The bottles now look modern, other than using the older German flip top bottle, but with newer style labels. The building is maintained reasonably well and felt welcoming. Three brews were available, but not their rauchbier, which is a bit disappointing, but the others are very good. I hope to get back to enjoy their cuisine.
