Cheve has a thick, white head, a mostly clear, deep gold appearance, with lazy bubbles and minimal lacing. The aroma is of a sharp, deep, rich barley malt and grassy hops. There is a similar flavor with some bitterness. Cheve has a high-medium body and a crisp finish.

$5 a pint and they serve it in a shaker pint and offer you lime on the side or "sauce in a can" (for a buck more). Go figure....
"Mexican Lager." 4.5% ABV. Brewed with Floor Malted Bohemian Pils, Corn, Saaz, and Motueka.
It drinks easy with a coating mouthfeel. Corn plays into it naturally, never lending too much sweetness or overly adjuncty flavour. Motueka isn't as present as would be ideal.
Balanced and drinkable without dazzling.
Smooth, wet, refreshing, perfectly carbonated, soft, coating, approachable.
A worthwhile affordable brew when out on the town, but I wouldn't seek it out in sixers for at-home consumption.
