Unfortunately, what poured out of a pint can into a clear Imperial pint mug brought a big starchy white head. It's becoming familiar, the starchier the look, the less pleasurable the taste. There's a slight aroma of hops, but it's mostly that now too common wheat/oats combination. The head has now receded, so the full contents of the can are now inside the glass. There was tremendous lacing as the head receded (yawn). Alright, now for the almost reluctant tasting. No big surprise, it's almost as light as water across the tongue. The hops are actually nicely complex, dry, bitter and somewhat earthy. There's a very good inclusion of a mild taste of alcohol. That combination is so will executed the lack of a solid malt base is mitigated. Still, the wheat/oats as a malt base over barley is akin to eating cotton candy instead of a Milky Way.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a dirty, golden yellow / brownish color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of hops, citrus fruit, tropical fruit, malt, and pears.
T: Tasted of a hint of malt (mostly in the finish; overpowered by the other ingredients), a good shot of tropical fruit (mango and passion fruit, in particular), lots of hops (not overdone, but certainly the dominant element), light pear notes (a sweet, fleeting presence), and some citrus fruit (grapefruit). This flavor is a good balance of hoppy and bitter. Tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: On the whole, a solidly done, easy to drink DIPA. Drinkable.

11/03/20 stamped on bottom of can. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Hazy gold with 2- finger, off-white, frothy head with good retention and copious lacing down the glass.
S: Pineapple, mango, lemongrass, and honeydew melon come across strongest with supporting fruity yeast esters.
T: Flavor is very melon and mint heavy with some peppery, spicy notes, plenty of floral, and a bit of mango and tropical fruit but less than the aroma lets on. Solid backing pale maltiness which is clean. Yeast esters are floral and fruit salad characters. Low bitterness. A bit of doughy cake batter sweetness in the aftertaste.
M: Very nice soft, medium-bodied feel with low-medium carbonation and no chalky or minerally notes.
O: Another solid to very good NEIPA from Short Throw — they are making their way onto my dependable list with every can solid and some of their beers excellent. Code of the Streets is very good but a bit melon-heavy in the flavor for my palate.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, grapefruit, orange and toasted caramel malt. Nice tropical fruit taste with sweet caramel and a piney bitterness.

A: Pours a very cloudy almost murky medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising slowly along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + bright orange + pale golden yellow + apricot colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film covering a little more than 25% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit + tropical/passionfruit + pear + stone fruit/apricot + stone fruit/peach hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + wheat + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + wheat + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit + tropical/passionfruit + pear + stone fruit/apricot + stone fruit/peach hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering moderate tropical + citrus + passionfruit hop flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp initially with a light to moderate amount of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with a decent amount of complexity to the hop flavors + aromas.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of herbal hops are present in the nose - basil stands out in particular - along with notes of grapefruit and pear.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of herbal and citrusy hops along with notes of passion fruit, pear, and stone fruit. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, a little juicy, and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this IPA has a lot of complexities and does a good job at hiding most of the alcohol.

Pours a hazy orange with a big off-white head and lots of lacing. Smell and taste have a nice combination of fresh citrus, mango and some earthy dank. Decently bitter finish. Good beer.
