Draft at PreFunk. Dark brown pour with filmy beige head. Roasty, chocolaty aroma. Taste brings a little booze, sweet, chocolate syrup. Roast, sticky, lingering bitterness

Poured stout black with a dark brown head that dissipated very quickly.
The taste was really quite good, not quite “pastry” stout sweet but there are no hop bitterness or coffee char that keep the taste in check, so it approaches cloying.
The feel is that of a BA stout, just viscous enough to remind one to sip.
OA, a good Imperial Stout that I would be happy to take to a SAN.

Bringing a softer side to roast, Short Throw Brewing soothes the their Imperial coffee Stout with the velvety flavors and feels of macadamia nut and vanilla.
Lemme Get Back To You layers in the glass with a viscous patience, decorated with sheer black and used oil impressions. As a dense blanket of mocha froth forms on the rim, the scent greets the tongue with sweeter impressions of chocolate, molasses, cream and candy along with a roasty, toasty and slightly smoky perfume. Sweet with malts, the beer’s early palate is chocked full of nougat, malted milk candy, molasses, honey and toffee.
Unfolding on the middle palate, the sweetness continues to saturate the tastebuds while bringing a roasty espresso balance and a creaminess of soft nuttiness, vanilla cream and bittersweet chocolate to seduce the tongue with ease. Trending moderately bitter, any hop additions are easily dismissed as coffee-type bitterness with a silky smooth late palate.
Full bodied, sweet and thick on the tongue, the beer’s chewy mouthfeel leaves a cloying level of sweetness behind that hinders drinkability but rewards the sense of taste, boldness and complexity. Wait no longer for this beer when offered, you’ll wanna jump on that chance immediately.

Added this (not 100% sure of stout style)
Extremely dark brown color. Not much head, dissipated very quickly. Hint of the sweetness comes though in the nose.
Very smooth. Rich, thick, sweet, manageable for the first few sips, but becomes a bit too heavy.
Good.
