8-ounce pour enjoyed on draft in a snifter at John's Marketplace in Beaverton, OR.
Look:
The beer is a deep walnut brown that looks opaque black-brown in the glass. The creamy head of brown foam shrinks to a long-lasting collar and an uneven skin pretty quickly, and leaves constellations of tiny, sticky dots.
Smell:
The nose...wait, where did my beer go? And who gave me this glass of liquefied moon pies? It smells like dark chocolate, marshmallows, black coffee, and a few drops of maple syrup.
Taste:
Flavor is pretty close to the smell, although I'm happy to say the maple comes through stronger. It's very sweet, like drinking chocolate frosting thinned out with some coffee and maple syrup. Marshmallows come through in the middle and coffee lingers in the finish.
Feel:
The body is statuesque. Voluptuous. The carbonation is as soft as a purr.
Overall:
2-Click Flare is much too sweet for me, but I like the body and the maple flavor. And darned if it doesn't offer _exactly_ what it says on the label. As I'm not generally a fan of pastry stouts, I probably wouldn’t drink this one again. But I'm not sorry I tried it.

Pours an effervescent mahogany with a pinky of mocha colored head. Some head retention & lacing
S: Marshmallow & cocoa, Maple once warm, some hints of booze
T: Follows the nose, pretty dry, Maple Candy up front. More dryness & Maple Candy as this beer warms up, chocolate, vanilla & marshmallow as well, a little boozy warmth on the tongue. Finishes with marshmallow, chocolate & maple candy, with expected dryness
MF: Fairly thick, dialed back carbonation, but does pick up once warmed up
Solid Adjunct Imp stout

Served in a snifter glass from the can.
Appearance: comes off a ridiculously dark black colored espresso with a dark tan head which initially Rose 10 mm off the body with soft bubbles in the frame.
Smell: to be honest it smells like coffee bean molasses and doses of honey. Very indulging aroma which sticks in the nose ridiculously.
Taste: honestly it might be a notch too sweet it depends on your palate of course but you feel deep brown sugar, vanilla, caramel, molasses and light hands of marshmallow. Of course there's the coffee and light mild chocolate you would think you're drinking devil's food cake, seriously.
Mouth: I'd be the stickiest body I have had in a very long time the soft carbonation and strong aftertaste.
Overall: to be honest it's a winner to drink it on your own might be a bit much but it is a perfect pastry Stout. Always in a glass and take your time and drink up, salud!

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small light brown head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace on the glass. It smelled of marshmallow, chocolate, creaminess and vanilla. Very sweet tasting with a strong marshmallow presence, chocolate and toffee.
