Look: It pours very dark brown with a brown head. It has low head retnetion.
Smell: It has rich chocolate aromas with some roast. There are some bread and coconut notes with slight burnt elements.
Taste: It has strong chocolate and roast flavors with bread and coconut. The bread is more bread crusts. There are also some dark fruits with plums and a touch of vanilla.
Feel: It has a full body with a bittersweet finish.
Overall, it is a complex imperial stout with toasted coconut as advertised. The flavors were every well together.

I did not get any toasted coconut flavor in the taste or aroma of this offering. Not even a hint as it warmed to room temperature. It was underwhelming compared to the other variants of Toltron stouts brewed at the same time. For me it was an okay imperial stout. Maybe just a bit too sweet for my taste. Glad it was part of of a mixed 4 pack and I don’t have anymore. Trying one was enough for me.
