Copenhagen 24/3 2024. 33 cl tall slim can from Beer Me webshop. Dark can with a glass overflowing and decomposing at the same time.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as thin patch of foam stretching in vain to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing but a lot of smudges on the glass.
Aroma is intense with a strong earthy odor almost managing to camouflage the scent of alcohol. Brown sugar and toffee. Roast. Tobacco and leather. Dark alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, viscous, soft, smooth, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a notable sharp, sourish bitter undertone. Lingering. Finish is sweet caramel and alcohol.
Satisfying.
