Oden Brewing Company

 

I think we had fun. Oden doesn't look like it's in a fashionable part of town, but here there is ample free parking, a handsomely restored interior and exterior, games likes foosball where you can get competitive with your partner while drinking a beer, and oh yeah, beer.

A menu reads behind the bar with its beer and other drink option. Beer style and ABV are listed, but no price, size, or to-go pricing added guesswork to my spending spree. Of the beer menu, there is an Italian Pilsner, IPA, blonde ale, gose, saison, dry stout...strong ale?! Now that is a dying style, make me one! Strong ale is lip smacking good and bittersweet is taste. Most of the tap menu is also available to take home with you as a 4-pack of pints.

Worthy of a late afternoon visit, or a visit anytime.
