A beer brewed with our mates at Meiers Creek. Right after we had finished the brew we hit the links at Bellevue CC where McBane, of Sheffield Tavern laced a peach of a shot up the hill at the tricky par three third. The ball took nice hop and rolled into the tucked pin! If you drink this beer you will also be blessed with kindess from the fickle golf gods.

On tap at The Sheffield in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like grassy hops, a touch of biscuity malt, and lemon.
This doesn’t bite quite as hard as some of the best Italian pilsners, but it still gets the job done quite well. There’s a nice grassy and spicy hop character, but none of that sort of sparkling minerality that I often get from this style. There’s some light biscuity and lightly sweet malt character.
This is light bodied, and super drinkable.
This is absolutely one of the better Meier’s Creek beers that I’ve had, and it’s really a nice house beer for The Sheffield.
