The Summit Series, from Meier's Creek Brewing Co., is a tribute to the 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks, each beer crafted to capture the character of its namesake mountain. Second in the series is Algonquin, a bold 7% IPA showcasing Newzilla hops that bring tropical fruit and resinous pine notes befitting the rugged spirit of the Adirondacks' second highest peak.

Pours a hazy gold. Thick foam. Hoppy aroma. Sickly sweet hop body. Rank bitter finish. I can't say theres anything good about this beer. Too sweet. Tastes artificial. Not what an IPA should be.
