Swirl before pouring!
Pours deep red, like a thick bloody mary. Easy foamy head, that stains glass. Nose is berry, strawberries and raspberries to be exact. Taste is tart and berry flavors. Not too much tart. Good taste. Feel is thick, due to pulp in can.

In what's becoming the most dreaded word in craft beer- "marshmallow", this villain of an ingredient rears its sweet and creamy head in Two Villains blueberry, raspberry and marshmallow fruited sour ale.

Burgundy, ruby and maroon, Villains Never Die rises up with a hazy and bubbly body with a part-frothy, part-fizzy cap carrying a lavender stained foam. With a juicy scent of dark berry, red wine, cobbler and vanilla rising, the taste proves just as juicy with cereal, pastry and smoothie character.

As the rise of acidity breaks up the sweetness, the remnants of marshmallow, cereal sweetness and fructose breaks up to provide a drier and more vinous middle palate highlighted by the dar and red berries. With a backdrop of green apple, lime, lemon, gooseberry and red grape providing a nealry winey taste, the finish comes quick with piquant acidity and fruit pectin.

Medium-full in body, the taste implies a more robust fruitiness but its brisk tartness suggests a drier and more refreshing character. As the character of marshmallow is handled carefully, the sour ale certainly favors the sourness highlighted by dark berries to pin point perfection.

16oz can. Poured out a thick, cloudy red color with a pillowy pink head of foam. It left pulpy residue on the glass. It smelled of raspberry, blueberry, strawberry and creamy notes. Sweet berry taste with a hint of tartness and creaminess from the marshmallow.
