A clear bottom-fermented beer that we have been brewing in the Łomża brewery for years. We value simplicity, that's why our recipe is based on the use of three carefully selected ingredients. Łomża is a beer created for its own, whose unique taste has gained recognition around the world.

Gdańsk 24/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from Biedronka Supermarket in Międzyzdroje. The usual Łomza brand design in Green with the golden Stag.
Pours clear, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. No Lacing to speak of.
Aroma is moderately intense with lightly sweet malts and some sour notes. Light skunky odor rummaging in the background.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery and fizzy, lively texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter but fairly short.
Pale Lager with a decent bitterness. But I could live without the skunky vibe.

I’ve had the Lomza Miodowe(honey beer) but never the Lager. I picked up a 4 pack of 500ml cans, with a canned date of April 30th 2025. Abv is 5.5% and the pour, into a tall lager glass, is golden, with a 2-3” fluffy, white head. The nose, is sweet, malty, slightly hoppy, but balanced. The taste, is fairly balanced, with the hops rounding out a drier finish, after a semi-sweet taste up front. Medium carbonation. Good, but nothing memorable. Better than Zwyiec, but not as good as Okocim. I’m trying to get thru most of the Polish beers, I have left to try. I’ll drink this again. Will I think about it? Probably not often. Still, not bad. Cheers!

A thanks to the mighty woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 16.9 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts and grains. Taste is the same as the aroma, light hops, very easy drinking. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Reviewing again for fun, tried the pils version a few days ago, which for me is definitely too sweet.
Fairly typical pilsner/lager appearance with an ok head, that dies down quite fast as is typical with Polish pilsners. Aroma of fresh quite bitter grassy hops and slightly skunky malt.
This is much less sweet than the pils, but also seems to have less hops. I would say that I prefer this to the pils, it's more subtle and less sweet. Though a taste of honey is still pretty prominent. Lomza pils is simply too sweet. This however is perfectly drinkable, though still a little heavy on the honey and sweetness. The hops kind of kick in slowly a good second or so after you drink it, that creates an interesting mouth feel, despite being kind of thin. I really wish they could just add more hops instead of more sweetness to the pilsner version, then it could be great. Dominant flavours here include prunes and honey. And dates.
For me this is better than the average lager or pilsner out there that I generally drink. Overall it seems better than the pils version and is pretty good value too. And it's 5.7%, respect. I would say that out of all of the commercial Polish lagers and pilsners, this comes after Tyskie, Namylow pils and Perla Chmielowa, but ahead of Lech, Perla Export, Zywiec and Warka. Extra overall points for value and strength, though for me it's a little too sweet and lacks hoppiness.

Jasne has a thick, off-white head, and a mostly-clear, golden appearance, with heavy lacing. The aroma is of biscuit malt and hop resin. The flavor is of cracker and grassy hops, with a touch of oily hop resin. Jasne has a medium body and a crisp finish.

Undecipherable date code; drank 5/30/22 @ the Yarchives.
See-through yellow/orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge, noisy off-white head; frothy lace.
Mild notes of corn, caramel & faint hops in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Not much flavor here; hints of corn & hops. It's not awful, but I won't return to this.
