Here's another one without a specific Beer Advocate category. The brewer describes it as a fruited Beliner Weiss, not an option. But, let's take the brewery at its word. An easy pour quickly empties the contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. There's no head, despite plenty of carbonation. It's not pungent, but a little raspberry and a little peanut butter is there to be found. The color is light mauve and it's cloudy. To taste, this drinks like a Belinerweiss, just sweeter and with some additional flavoring. Amazingly, the peanut butter is there, but it's greatly subdued. That's noteworthy because of that flavor's tendency to overpower everything else. The raspberry is also mild, but a welcome addition to a style that often seems to need something more to make it taste better. The carbonation and light body are pluses. Mild also, is its sourness, although it is more slightly sour than slightly tart. This may not be a full flavored taste treat, but it's a bit better than the typical Belinerweiss.
