Unfiltered yellow gold body, like lemon custard; forms a full, airy, white head with good retention.
Hops aromas of citrus and tropical fruit - a blend of guava, mango, orange, pineapple. Sweet and candy like.
Hop and malt flavours are well balanced and complementary, with the fruitiness of the aroma dialed down and more resinous. Grainy-sweet malt, very light caramel, acts as a strong backbone for the hops. Pronounced but soft bitterness. Medium-dry finish. Moderately light feel, surprisingly easy to drink, verging on being watery (it's not). Soft and smooth, medium light carbonation.
Nothing flashy here, just a simple, tasty, balanced DIPA. Dangerously drinkable for 8%+.
