An homage to the beers we used to sneak from our parents' fridges. Lagered for 8 weeks. Naturally carbonated. Unfined and unfiltered.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From Erie Street Gastropub's bottle shop on Erie Street East in nearby downtown Windsor. My third beer from the Ayr, Ontario brewery, and for 2025. Batch A2725. With Sundae the cat...

Review from notes. LCBO purchase for around $4 CDN. Served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Rich golden color with a bit of haze and lots of bubbles. Nice finger plus of white capped head on top.
Smell - Clean and with plenty of grain light dusting of citrus.
Taste - Clean and grainy with a bit of a grassy element. The grains shine here.
Mouthfeel - Very crisp, booze well hidden and semi-dry finish. Body is medium fullness.
Overall - A solid export lager and quite enjoyable as it's not a style frequently seen. Worth trying and the extra ABV doesn't detract in any way shape of form.

Can from the brewery, they label this as "Unfiltered Lager" now....pours a hazed pale gold, 2 finger white cap....aromas of fresh bread and spicey hopping, some apple....well rounded conditioned character, soft mouth feel....flavor has the malts in front but the hopping quickly balances, some cider-like side tones and some nutty undertones from the yeast....finish is clean sharp increased bittering....very nice summer sipping brew and very satisfying...
UPDATE: since I first tasted this well made premium craft lager, It has become my go-to brew for watching football and hockey games...it's rich malty but balanced character, deep flavor and smooth delivery make it perfect for sessioning and pairing with tailgate foods....the brewer hit the high mark in lager brewing with this offering....for lager fans it's a must try.

Pours a hazy peach shade with a wispy but long lasting cap. The aroma is of fresh bread dough and barley grains with a touch of booziness in there. Bready, chewy malts abound in the taste. Some delicate herbal hops in the back. The mouthfeel is light bodied with sparse carbonation. The finish is lightly bitter with plenty of lingering maltiness.
A nice Export Lager with a straightforward malt centric profile. Worth a try as it's unique for Ontario. Cool branding as well.
