Brewe's notes: "Helles Lager w/ Wheat 5.2% - Proudly made on our farm in Ayr, Ontario, Canada"
Can fresh from the brewery - pours a hazed pale gold with a 2 finger white cap that lasts....light aromas of pale malts and wet staraw, some biscuit tones and apple....soft mouth feel, rounded well conditioned character....flavor is malty, biscuity, very light sweetness in front then balanced with ample hop bittering ....finish is dry clean malty and increased bittering....a very decent helles with dusty wheat malts and a bit hoppyer than German Helles but a very good local replacement for my beloved Hacker-Pschorr Munich Helles...well made brew for sessioning
