473ml can served cool into a snifter. Durand purchase. K3024 is canning code.
Appearance - Ominous and dark black with the pour being full of vigor creating a big three finger tan head that fades quickly. Sparse lacing.
Smell - Dark chocolate and vanilla and coconut are very prominent on the nose with some spices thrown in. Good depth of aroma.
Taste - Rich and chocolatey with some vanilla helping. Coconut is muted but present and the cardamom adds an interesting and depth that is unique. Some cinnamon to round things out. Not too sweet but there as luscious rich chocolate vanilla combo that is so appealing here.
Mouthfeel - Smooth, full bodied, modest carbonation and very velvety texture.
Overall - Top notch imperial stout and the cinnamon and cardamom really elevate this up just one more level, giving it extra depth over many competitors. Awesome brew.
