Can from brewery racked 15 days ago.....pours a deep light-defying black with a 3 finger tan cap that lasts.....Aroma is complex - dark fruits, cocoa, hazel nuts, spice......firm bodied, rich slick mouth feel....Flavor has so many taste impressions going on all I can say is this is like a liquid Nanaimo bar...thick malts give roasty cocoa brownie tastes, lightly sweet, you get both coconut and hazel nut tastes....long wet semi sweet finish with a licorice taste at the end....this is a big stout that hides its alcohol well but with a tad too much sweetness to have more than 2...best served with a dessert
