Can: Poured a dark black color barleywine with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with some floral coffee notes. Taste is a mix of caramelized malt, light chocolate notes with some floral coffee notes. Body is too thin for style with good carbonation. Could have been an interesting experience but the body is too thin and coffee flavors don’t mix that well with the caramelized malt notes.

Almost 11 months in the can, but still a decent drinker, likely helped by the high abv. Coffee came through sweeter at samples below the room temperature. On warming, somewhat stale but then the barleywine base kicked in for malt and alcohol warming that sufficed. Rich smell.
