Copenhagen 3/5 2023. 40 cl from tap at Taphouse, Lavendelstræde, Kbh. K.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small tan head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense intense with a sweet pleasant odor of dark malts, soft coconut and a little tropical fruit. Dark sweet malts, brown sugar. Coconut and pineapple. Touch of Pina Colada.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Entirely pleasant coconut boozer.
