Pours murky gold with a wispy head that coats the glass in foam. Grapefruit and tropical hops and a bit of rum cake in the nose. The taste is fruity with loads of citrusy hops and also a prominent bready malt profile. The mouthfeel is full bodied with moderate carbonation. High bitterness and a lot of chewy malts in the long finish.
A nice DIPA with a lot of balance.

473ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase and canning date appears to be October 2, 2025 (marked with J0225).
Appearance - An aggressive pour yielded a very hazy yellowy golden brew with two fingers of foamy white head. Great retention time and nearly juice like in its haziness. Spiderweb lacing left behind as the
Smell - Dank and fruity with some weediness and mango leading the charge. Hints of pineapple and grapefruit but definitely rip but not overripe mango. Fairly intense nose.
Taste - Sweet up front with a healthy dose of mango again, booziness is present but well enough disguised. Just a little peppery quality at the very tip of the tongue. A note of pine three quarters of the way through too.
Mouthfeel - Full bodied fairly low carbonation. Warming heat in the back of the throat owing to the 20 proof quality of this beer. Juicier than most triple IPA's.
Overall - High quality brew that will be sure to satisfy most hopheads. Notch another win for Willibald.
