Pairing West Coast’s bitterness, with East Coast’s soft mouthfeel, we call this double IPA a Minnesota hazy. Double dry hopped with Mosiac and Cascade hops, tropical fruit and citrus flavors dominate the palate, with a light maltiness in the background.

Very slight haze in an amber body. Thin white head with nice lacing. Smell reminds me of light honeysuckle, with a little orange and pine. Very bitter when first on the tongue, then some sweeter citrus fruit and floral notes become apparent. Spot on mouthfeel with the body and carbonation in sync. I would classify this as a kick ass WCIPA from Stone instead of a hazy IPA, but that is kind of my preference, so I like it.

This is more of a WCIPA than most of the recent IPAs labeled as WCIPA. But this is labeled NEIPA. No date on the 16oz can that I can find so age is unverified. Slightly hazy amber color with a large head that had good retention with heavy lacing left down the glass. Strong pine aroma with some slightly musty malt. Flavor is piney with bitter leafy green foliage. Bitterness is low to moderate but seems higher than what most IPA releases today possess. Bigger IPA with a body that fits. Nicely carbonated. Good IPA but fails as a juicy, soft, non bitter, NEIPA.

Murky, hazy dark golden color, almost orange. There's a 2 finger white and very fluffy head. The head retention is damn good, and the head clings to the glass like super glue. It's insane how clingy it is.
The nose is fairly mild. There's a bit of citrus going on here, but very mellow.
Taste - There's a lot of pine in this beer, and this surprised me. I'm used to NE styles being mainly citrus, but this is pine, and I'm liking it. Tons of pine going on here.
The body isn't really juicy or soft, however the hops linger like crazy in my throat.
This is a great IPA, and it leans way closer toward old school/west coast, than NEIPA. It is damn good as an old school IPA, but misses the mark as a NEIPA. Maybe this is a new hybrid style?
