A: Pours a dark brown color with some red around the edges. A beige head rises to two fingers with some retention and lace. The only beer poured for me that had any "legs" so to speak.
S: A simple aroma of grains and toasted malts. Cereal and cracker like. Just kind of bland here.
T: There is a bit more roundness and depth here. Grains, toasted malts, but also a chocolate sweetness to help out. A little bitter roast lingers.
M/O: A light body and crisp carbonation. Though, looking for this to be more smooth. Its OK to drink, probably the best I had at the brewery.
This reminds me of Holler's Pub Crusher a little, except that that has more malt flavors and I find it an all around better dark session beer. This is fine, and one of the few at the brewery that I didn't get any real off flavors from. Though its also easier to hide those in this style. Probably what I'm coming back to if I make more visits.
