A: Pours a light cloudy pale yellow color. A small white head forms and recedes quickly. No lace is left behind.
S: Its all up front here, banana, cloves, and cereal grains. Not a lot of depth and would like more of a doughy yeasty aroma a la Live Oak.
T: Follows the nose with a quick snap of banana, clove and cereal grains. Cooked corn and sulfur as well, maybe a touch of DMS?
M/O: A light body with crisp carbonation. Its OK to drink, but reminds me more of a generic "American Pale Wheat Ale" instead of a Hefeweizen.
Maybe its unfair to compare, but I had just had a Live Oak Hefe before this and the difference is pretty clear. Also, getting a bit of cooked corn and sulfur doesn't help. Hoping they can clean this up a bit.
