A: Pours a hazy yellow/orange color. A one finger white head forms and leaves some lace behind.
S: Phenols up front and center that become a bit plastic like for me. Peppery spice and grassy hops.
T: like the nose, a lot of phenols and in the over the top, becomes plastic band aid like way. Some peppery spice, some grassy hops and citrus. Baked bread is in there as well. Enjoyable but not my favorite Triple around.
M/O: A medium to full body. Moderate carbonation that becomes smooth. A sipper for sure as the alcohol gets a bit hot after a while.
A nice, if not exceptional example of the style for me. The plastic phenols get to be a bit much as this goes on, without much more nuance to help out, but that is probably more of a me thing than anything. Regardless, always glad to see more traditional attempts of this style around.
