Espinaler "Cerveza De Taberna"
33 cl. brown glass bottle coded "consumir preferentment antes del fin de L21004 02/23". Sampled on 24 November 2022
1,79€ @ La Sirena, c/Sant Pere Més Baix 23, Barcelona, ES
Notes: I find it hard not to try all of the unusual supermarket beers when I travel, and this one is no exception. It's pricier than some but definitely not worth it. It's hazy, which is unusual, and deep golden in color. The short head of white holds fairly well and leaves some decent lacing. That's the good part because beyond that it's fairly hollow. Both the aroma and flavor are lacking, delivering just basic malt and mildly herbal hops. It's fairly well balanced and finishes mainly dry with a median bitterness. In the mouth it's medium bodied leaning towards the lower end, and crisp with a standard carbonation. As a thirst quencher or beer to have while you're waiting for a train it's fine but for the price there are better beers in that category.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
